Troop Zero goes down easy like the best cinematic comfort food.
Gaffigan and Janney offer just what their parts in the story need, but Davis keeps it all on the rails.
Troop Zero is a film made for the misfits, the outcasts, and the dreamers - and will leave you floating to the stars.
Taking us back to a different time and place, Troop Zero is a lot of fun.
The film leans... heavily on saccharine moments that feel like a brute force way to your heart rather than earning an emotional reaction.
It's always nice when an underdog movie like this can match a big heart with some real quality production. Everyone can use a boost in February, but "Troop Zero" will cheer you up most any time of year.
It can all seem like a bit much at times, but I found myself falling for its charms more often than not, largely thanks to the cast.
the kids are so cute and everyone involved is bringing a warmth to the picture. It makes for a pleasant enjoyable movie to watch despite its flaws
While this by-the-numbers crowd-pleaser goes down fairly easy as any sugary, feel-good film is designed to do, there's also a hollow emptiness at its center, rendering it to be a well-intentioned, yet ultimately forgettable experience.
'Troop Zero' is a bit campy and oftentimes silly, but the film never claims to anything more.
It's a fun, light and heartwarming affair that'll surely appeal to kids, their parents and everyone in between.
An utterly delightful family comedy about girls learning to support each other. A few simplistic moments, but it has a sunny message.
